2016 Burgundy En Primeur Tasting & PoB Gala Dinner Combo

This is our 4th annual Burgundy “En Primeur” tasting event in Hong Kong and it follows the tradition of similar events in Burgundy dating back to 1859 when the first “Hospice de Beaune” auction took place.
Our Club members along with other Burgundy lovers from Hong Kong, Macau, across Asia and from around the world will have the unique opportunity to taste and preorder wines from the 2016 vintage. Wines from more than 28 of Burgundy’s top domaines will be presented at the tasting. Wine growers from 18 domaines are making the journey from France to Hong Kong to participate in this year’s event and will be available to discuss their wines and domaines.
This year, we’ll present three non Burgundy domaines and two wine growers – Benoît Marguet from Champagne Marguet and Olivier Riviere from Spain will join our events as well. The 3rd domaine to be presented is Comando G from Siera Gredos, Spain – considered as one of the most exciting wine projects in the world today.

Pearl of Burgundy & the participating wine growers Gala BYOB dinner event, in the spirit of “Saint Vincent” celebration in Burgundy
As a grand finale of the week’s festivities, Pearl of Burgundy is hosting an intimate BYOB dinner in the spirit of Burgundy’s “St Vincent” events.
Each table will host one of the wine growers who will share a special bottle from their cellars. In addition to the wines brought by the attendees, Pearl of Burgundy will be serving rarities from the “reserve” collection.
Guests are encouraged to bring special bottles from their collections to share with the wine growers and fellow attending wine lovers.
Price includes admission to both the 2016 Burgundy En Primeur Tasting on January 24, 2018 at 7:00pm and the PoB Gala Dinner on January 27, 2018 at 6:30pm.
